William Cavendish, Earl of Burlington (born 6 June 1969), professionally also known by the name Bill Burlington, is a photographer and the son and heir-apparent of the 12th Duke of Devonshire. He was styled Earl of Burlington before his father's succession to the Dukedom of Devonshire, and has not assumed the title Marquess of Hartington as have previous heirs to the Dukedom.

Lord Burlington was educated at Eton College and subsequently studied photography under Jorge Lewinski.[1]
On 23 December 2006 his engagement to the former model, fashion editor, and stylist Laura Montagu (former wife of The Hon. Orlando Montagu, younger son of the 11th Earl of Sandwich) was announced in The Times. The couple married on 31 March 2007, but the wedding was not announced until early August. They have two children, a daughter and a son:
